Squeeze the garment, make sure do not wring.
When item is cold [wool only felts if the temperature is changed]
Place in a pillowcase or laundry bag, tie up and rinse & spin in washing machine.
Block or pull gently back into shape and dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight.
